Wellll as you may tell by the title, I was not chosen for the promotion... in fact I wasn't even chosen for the second round of interviews... I was pretty bummed, a little shocked actually. I've been told for over a year I'd be great for the job, by many people currently in that position so ya, kind of a let down. I'm not mad, I know the people that are moving on are just as qualified as I am and they'll do great. I've applied to a couple of other positions as well so I'll keep you posted on that. I really do love this company and I know there are tons of other opportunities and on the upside I want to try and focus more on music and photography. I honestly never thought I'd get so sad over something like this! I'm better now, but when I read the email, I just couldn't stop crying! I even pulled the "I'n so bummed I'm gonna stuff my face with ice cream," which I'm now regretting slightly... gotta get to the gym! lol Let...

Just got an email at work! My interview for the management position is Monday at 10:00 PM! I'll let you know how it goes :)

The past few months have been great. Because it's been colder, there's been lots of nights staying in. I'm doing really great. I'm really tired so this is going to be more of a picture book update. Melissa and Scott came back to Austin... and are staying! Melissa got a job with me at Blizzard and Scott also already found a job here as well! My niece finally got her Christmas present... and apparently hasn't let go of it :) My mom, noticed that every time I started baking, I was in love... well I've been doing a LOT of baking and cooking lately. Good thing Ryan likes mexican food. I've made 4 different types of enchiladas and he's loved them all. We had a great Valentines day. Started out with Oysters at the Crawfish shack then had sushi at a place down the road. It was great! I really just can't describe how happy I am. I've been training new hires this week at work, which means I had to work a different schedule... 7am - 4pm... UGH, never again ...
