The joy of a hard days work.

I'm sitting by myself in a small living space on a farm in Dime Box, Tx. My feet hurt... wait... everything hurts. My hands are cracked and stained with dirt. I miss Ryan and the too many good friends to name here that I haven't seen in weeks, even months. I'm more tired than I've ever been, and more tan. I sleep on a pull out couch, use a toilet that you can't put TP down and dry my clothes on a clothesline. Every morning I wake up with the sunrise. Some mornings I make it out of bed that early... I'm working on it. The first task is feeding the animals. 12 laying hens, 3 goats, 4 sheep and Benga our livestock guard puppy. You have to feed the chickens in a different pen than the livestock or they'll eat all the chicken feed! We have 2 hanging water feeders and a few buckets for the goats/sheep.
